Our Club
Agnes Water Surf Life Saving Club is a proud community organisation dedicated to promoting beach safety, active participation, and a love for the ocean.
As part of the iconic Surf Life Saving movement, we encourage family involvement and lifelong learning through a supportive and inclusive environment.
Our Nippers
Our Nippers program plays a vital role in building water confidence, surf safety skills, and teamwork in children aged 5 to 13.
It’s a fun, educational way for kids to stay active, make friends, and become future lifesavers.
Our Surf Sports
We also support and celebrate participation in Surf Sports, from beach sprints and flags to board and swim races, offering pathways for all ages and abilities to compete and grow, from local carnivals to state and national levels.
Governance & Structure
The Agnes Water Surf Life Saving Club is governed by a committed board and several specialized committees that ensure smooth operations and strategic growth.
Here’s how we’re structured:
- The Board: Sets the club’s vision, manages finances, and ensures we meet our mission. Board members are elected annually by club members.
- Lifesaving Committee: Oversees patrol operations, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Training Committee: Manages training programs for lifesavers, from beginners to advanced certifications.
- Nippers Committee: Runs our junior activities program, ensuring it’s fun, safe, and educational.
